3D laser imaging can be used in wide fields such as intelligent,reconnaissance ,active guidance ,target rec- ognition and surveillance etc. It is still a research hotspot nowadays. There many different 3D laser imaging technology that has been studied and developed. They are different in principle, characteristics and applications. A review and summary about the laser imaging are introduced and the prospects of them are pointed out.
