In this paper were introduced the structure of Rapidd1250pony roll cutter made by Goebel and the experience on themaintenance and modification to an old pony roll cutter by HenanDazhi. Based on the experiences on design and application of ponyroll cutter more than 10 years, a kind of special pony roll cutter wasdeveloped through the digestion and absorption with the importedcutter.
