During Anti-Japanese War, our army captured a large number of Japanese prisoners of war. As war witnesses, the Japanese POWs recorded the War and their personal experiences in the War from unique point of views in their writings which played a significant role in awakening Japanese soldiers and embodied their fundamental value judgments on the war. Their simple moral value enabled them to turn against Japanese military offices. They even regarded war weariness as a pro-China anti-Japanese war strategy. As a result, their responsibilities in the war disappeared. This mode of thinking demonstrates the limitations of their reflections on the War.
