文化自觉是对民族文化的来源、发展历程、所具特色和发展方向的认识与研究。唐君毅作为现代新儒家的主要代表人物,有鲜明的文化自觉意识,其文化自觉意识不仅表现为"花果飘零"的悲情,更体现为笃实的研究实践,其研究成果体现在三方面:一是以问题和概念为中心分析了中国哲学的发展历程;二是以儒家的心性之学为基础重建了中国的道德形上学,揭示了中国文化的特质;三是立足中国文化本原指出了中国文化三极并建的发展方向。唐君毅的相关理论为当下中国的文化转型与发展提供了重要的理论资源。

Cultural Consciousness is to study the sources and characteristics of national culture as well as its history and direction of development. Being the main representative of modern Neo-Confucianism,Tang Junyi has a distinct cultural consciousness which is known as ＂fruit wandering＂sadness and is reflected in his research and practice,mainly in three aspects. The first is to analyze the development process of Chinese philosophy focusing on issues and concepts. The second is to reconstruct Chinese moral metaphysics,reveal the characteristics of Chinese culture based on the Confucian Mind doctrine. The third is to point out the development direction of Chinese culture and the construction of three-pole standing on Chinese culture. Tang Junyi＇s theories are the important theoretical resources for current cultural transformation and development in China.
