水曹楹帖状元书——夏同龢、丘逢甲诗友情谊

On the Friendship between Xia Tong-he and Qiu Feng-jia

清代戊戌科状元夏同龢,南游粤中时与岭南诗坛盟主丘逢甲结为诗友,互相唱和,或举办祭祀文天祥的盛会,或游览名山、梵刹,或海滨夜话,或题写榜额楹联,夏同龢留下多幅墨宝。可惜他的诗作未保留下来,只能从丘逢甲30多首诗作中窥见其游历岭南的行踪。

The Number One Scholar Xia Tong-he traveled to Guangdong in 1899. Xia met his poet friends Qiu Feng-jia--the leader of Ningnan poetry. Although he left many calligraphic works, Xia＇ s poems could be found. Xia Tong-he＇ s ＂tracks＂ could be found from the poetry of Qiu Feng-jia.
