To meet the wind-proof requirement for the quayside container crane,especially the steel rope tractive lift equipped on the crane,the paper analyzes the defect of the steel rope tractive lift on waterproof performance,puts forward the practical reconstruction plan,which can effectively solve the safety hazard,guarantee the serviceability rate of the equipment and reduce repair cost.
