Comparative study on the standards of English translation of the basic terms of TCM syndrome differentiation

文章比较了目前国内外最具影响力的3部中医术语英译标准中的辨证基本术语,基于中医药术语英译基本原则和方法,对每一类辨证方法的术语英译展开了较详细的研究和分析,讨论和确定了相对合理的英译词,以期促进中医辨证类基本术语英译标准的统一,更好地推动中医名词术语英译规范化研究。

In this paper,we compared the standards of English translation of the basic terms of Traditional Chinese medicine（TCM） syndrome differentiation in three influential books of standard terminologies at home and abroad.Based on the principles and methods for English translation of TCM terms,we carefully researched and analyzed the English versions of terms in each category,then discussed and determined a relatively reasonable version,which is hoped to promote the unification of English translation for terms on syndrome differentiation and improve the research of the standardization of TCM terminology.
