H.264/AVC快速帧间模式选择算法

摘要 H.264/AVC视频编码标准规定帧间编码模式的7种宏块尺寸,利用率失真优化(RDO)计算每种模式,增加计算量.本文利用空间均匀性和时域稳定性提出快速帧间模式选择算法,空间均匀性依据边缘强度,时域稳定性依据当前块与参考块的绝对误差值和.仿真结果显示本文方法比原有方法降低编码时间约21.38%,视频质量近似不变. H.264/AVC video coding standard uses seven block sizes of intermode.Each intermode needs to compute Rate Distortion Optimization,which results in extremely high computation.A fast intermode decision algorithm is proposed in the paper,which takes advantage of the spatial homogeneity and temporal stationary.Spatial homogeneity is determined according to MB edge intensity and temporal stationary is determined according to the sum of absolute difference between current macroblock and the reference macro block.The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can save approximately 21.38%time while maintaining similar video quality.
