Research Progress of Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder and Neural Circuits

经前烦躁症(PMDD)的临床表现复杂多样,是育龄期妇女的常见病、多发病,直接影响女性生活质量。其发病机制十分复杂,近年来,国内外学者从神经机制及脑区活性变化来揭示PMDD的发病原因。相关研究显示,前额叶、杏仁核、海马及小脑、岛叶等脑区的活性变化可能与PMDD发病密切相关,现对涉及该病的脑区及脑区间的相互联系进行综述,为明确经前期综合征的神经机制研究提供参考依据。

Premenstrual dysphoric disorder（PMDD） has complex and diverse clinical manifestations. PMDD is a common disease to women of childbearing age and has a direct impact on women′s life quality. Its pathogenesis is complex,in recent years,scholars have been trying to reveal the etiology of PMDD from the neu-ral mechanisms and brain activity. But so far,neuroimaging studies about emotional processing is not yet con-clusive. The disease may be closely associated with brain regions including the prefrontal cortex,amygdala,hip-pocampus and cerebellum,insula. Here is to make a review of the development of brain areas involved in the disease and the interactions,with expectation to provide references on neural mechanisms for PMDD.
