野生经济植物资源是一种可再生资源,区别于木材资源的是它的生长利用周期比较短。科学合理地规划和开发利用野生经济植物资源,可以改变林业企业多年来以木材生产为主的单一生产方式,不但可以增加企业自身的经济来源和形成新的发展方向,达到调整林业产业结构、增加社会就业人员、增加林区职工的经济收入的目的,同时也向社会提供多种纯天然、无污染的绿色经济产品,为人类健康和社会发展做出贡献。
