On Contemporary Chinese Men's Ethical Role Conflict within Family

男女两性作为构成家庭的主要成员在家庭中分别承担着各种重要的伦理角色。随着当代中国社会的发展与转型,经济、政治、文化等各方面因素对男女两性在社会角色方面的影响,也促使了当代中国家庭中男女角色的新型转变。伴随着女性角色的现代转型,男性在家庭中的角色冲突也越发明显。性别伦理角色、代际伦理角色等都对男性的家庭责任与角色扮演带来了新的挑战,还未适应转型期的当代中国男性不可避免地面临着各种家庭伦理角色的冲突。

Men and women as the main family members are playing various important ethical roles respective- ly. With the development and transformation of contemporary Chinese society, elements from economy, poli- tics, culture, and so on, are influencing social roles of men and women, thus stimulate the gender roles in family to change in contemporary China. Along with the modern transformation of female roles, there arise a lot of problems about the male role conflicts in family. Gender ethical role and inter - generational ethical role have brought new challenges to men＇ s family responsibility and role playing. Men who have not adapted to the transition, will inevitably face a variety of family ethical role conflicts.
