巧用美剧优化高职院校中外合作办学英语教学——以《绝望的主妇》为例

近几年,美国电视剧开始走入国人的生活并对中国观众产生了不少影响,尤其是年轻学子特别追捧。利用美剧辅助英语教学一直被视为常见的英语教学手段,对打破高职院校中外合作办学英语教学的瓶颈问题更显得尤为重要。本文从高职院校中外合作办学英语教学的现状出发,以经典美剧Desperate Housewives《绝望的主妇》为例,从该剧与高职院校中外合作办学英语教学结合的可行性到具体运用进行了很好的分析论证。

In recent years, American television series have begun to walk into people＇s lives with a lot of influence on the Chinese audience, especially on young students. The use of American TV series in English teaching has been regarded as a common means of teaching English, which is particularly impor- tant for Sino--foreign cooperation in running schools to break the English teaching bottleneck. Based on the present situation of Sino--foreign cooperation in running schools in higher vocational colleges, tak- ing an American classic TV show Desperate Housewives as an example, the feasibility of American TV series with English teaching of Sino--foreign cooperation in running schools in higher vocational colleges as well as the concrete application are explored.
