中美档案法律法规中核心概念对应关系研究(上)

Research on the Corresponding Relationships between Key Concepts in Archival Science: An In-Depth Analysis based on Relevant Laws and Regulations of China and the United States

针对中国档案界(包括学界和业界)近年来就档案学专业的英文概念record(s)应如何与中文概念相对应的讨论以及在讨论中所凸显的问题,本研究选择了中美两国政府颁布的相关法律法规为数据源并对所选数据进行了逐字逐句式内容分析。分析过程导引出两类成果,一类以直接的形式呈现了中文概念"文件"、"档案"、"公文"与英文概念record(s)、archives、document(s)之间相关或无关的关系;而另一类则以间接的方式揭示出中美两国法律法规中皆缺乏完整的、兼具逻辑性和系统性的概念体系。作为第一部分,本文汇报该研究的研究背景、研究方法、研究数据选择以及研究所揭示的中国部分核心概念关系。

Focusing on the debate in the field of archival science and administration in recent years in China on the selection of corresponding Chinese terms for key concepts in English literature such as record （s） and archives, the present research sampled as data sources the laws and regulations concerning the con- cepts in question issued by the Chinese Government and the Federal Government of the United States of America, respectively. The data analysis employed the methodology of content analysis featuring word by word, sentence by sentence techniques, which led to the generation of two types of research outcomes： first, the explicitly displayed corresponding or none-existent relationships among the analyzed concepts, and sec- ond, the observation of the lack of a comprehensive, both logic and systematic conceptual framework in the laws and regulations of the two countries.
