Fluorine quaternary ammonium salt surfactants are novel surfactants which exhibit some unusual physical and chemical properties,such as strong surface activity,strong chemical stability and hydro-oleophobicity. The synthesis methods of fluorine quaternary ammonium salt surfactants are reviewed and catedgorized. According to some specific functions such as dialyl,hydroxyl,amino groups are presented and the developing trend of fluorine quaternary ammonium salt surfactants also prospected.
