林业高校图书馆特色数据库建设思考

Thinking on Construction of Characteristic Databases of Forestry University Library

分析我国10所林业高校图书馆自建特色数据库的情况,针对林业高校教学和科研的需要以及林业信息资源建设中的问题,论述林业高校图书馆自建特色数据库与实现资源共建共享的必要性,提出在林业系统内通过强强联合实现林业数据库共建共享的举措。

The paper analyzes situation of self-buih characteristic databases of ten forestry university libraries in China. In view of the needs of forestry university＇ s teaching and scientific research and the problems in forestry information resource construction, it dis- cusses the necessity for forestry university library to self-build characteristic databases and realize resources sharing, and puts forward measures for achieving forestry database co-construction and sharing through the powerful alliance.
