Prosody Selection and Judgment between Li Bai and Du Fu

诗体选择对李杜优劣论具有重要影响。元稹重视新题乐府和排律的创作与其扬杜抑李论的提出密切相关;韩愈追踪李、杜,在用韵、炼字、奇崛化等方面学习杜甫,而在诗体选择上则推崇李白,做到了各有兼得,是其李杜并重的重要原因。在诗文革新中,为革除西昆体和太学体的不利影响,欧阳修对于杜甫有意弹压,而把李白树立为诗文革新运动的榜样人物,对其古体诗和绝句多有学习,是其提出扬李抑杜论的重要背景。

Prosody selection has important influence on the judgment between Li Bai and Du Fu. Yuan Zhen attaches great importance to the new topic poems as well as creation of extended form which are closely related to the theory of praising Du Fu and criticizing Li Bai. Han Yu follows both Li Bai and Du Fu and taking their own advantages,learning from Du Fu in the aspects of rhymes,solution,peculiar,while in terms of prosody selection,he is supporting Li Bai.Taht is the important reason of paying equal attention to Li Bai and Du Fu. In the poetry innovation,to abolish the negative impact of the Xi Kun style and Tai Xue style,Ou Yangxiu is inclined to suppress on Du Fu while set Li Bai as a model character for poetry innovation movement for whom learn from his form of pre- Tang poetry and quatrains,which is the important background of proposing the theory of praising Li Bai and criticizing Du Fu.
