The paper introduces the mechanism of the inertia-gravity bag compound filter and its breakthrough applications in smoke-gas treatments of big-sized coal-fired generating sets of the power industry.The new precipitation mode integrates the dust recovery advantages of inertia-gravity filter and bag filter through capturing a large number of dust particulates by inertia-gravity filter before and fine dust by bag filter after.This is a new technology innovation which has realized the organic combination of inertia-gravity filter and bag filter.
