新修辞视角下旅游网站文本的修辞分析与英译调适 被引量:1

摘要 文章从新修辞理论视角对汉英旅游网站文本的修辞差异进行比较分析,在此基础上从话语内容、诉求策略、话语建构方式和美学手段四个层面对汉语旅游网站中的若干英译实例进行分析,探讨其优劣得失。同时认为在旅游网站文本的翻译过程中,译者应以译语受众为中心,根据双语的修辞差异对译文内容和形式进行相应的翻译调适,包括合理调适话语内容、得体使用诉求策略、有效建构话语方式以及恰当运用美学手段。 This paper compares the rhetoric characteristics of the texts derived from some oI utunese and English tourism websites in the light of New Rhetoric Theory and accordingly analyzes some C-E translation examples from the aspects of arguments, appeals, arrangement and aesthetics. It is con- cluded that in translating the texts of Chinese tourism websites, translators should be target readers- oriented and make corresponding translation adjustments in terms of content and form based on the rhetoric differences between languages, including reasonable adjustments of argumahts, proper appli cation of appeals, effective arrangement and appropriate utilization of aesthetics.
