Analysis of the Contradictoriness of Induced Myth in Shiji

《史记》中的感生神话因时代要求与延续传统的冲突、史学精神与神话思维的冲突、今文尚义与古文尚实的经学冲突、天命思想与道德观念的冲突等,而展现出强烈的矛盾色彩,立体地突显了司马迁神话思想的内在矛盾。司马迁在以理性的精神梳理神话的同时,又以天命之说解释着时势的变迁。在《史记》书写体系中"神话历史化"和"历史神话化"的双向演化过程被清晰地展现出来,神话在汉代的流变得到了生动演示。

The Contradiction between the requirement of ＂the times and continuity of tradition, historio- graphical spirit and mythological thinking, modern and ancient Confucian classics, as well as fate thought and moral concept in induced myth in Shiji, highlights the internal contradiction in mythologi- cal thinking of Sima Qian. Sima Qian discusses the myths from the aspect of rational spirits, and explains the historical development from the fatal perspective. The historicalization of myths and the mythologization of laistory have been reflected in the writing system of Shiji. The development of the myths in Han Dynasty has been revealed clearly.
