Building Ecological Circle: The Duty-Bound of the Modern Library

信息生态园的概念是基于生态学有关概念、信息生态原理及信息时代信息原生态的负面特征而提出的。图书馆的社会职能和社会责任表明,建设信息生态园是当代图书馆义不容辞的社会使命。其建设对策包括:1面向图书馆的对策,即在理论研究、制度建设和实践探索等方面有所作为。2面向用户的对策,即区别服务、特色服务不断强化;推进图书馆物理空间与用户学习空间、研究空间、文化空间、精神空间深度契合等。

The concept of information ecological circle was proposed based on ecological concepts, information ecological theories and the negative characteristics of primary ecosystems in the information age. Construction of information ecological circle is one of the bounden social duties of contemporary libraries owing to their social functions and responsibilities. The construction methods include： ① Methods to libraries. The construction should be pay more attention to theoretical research, system construction, practice exploration and so on; ② Methods to users. The construction should enhance the targeted and characteristic service, deepen the combination between libraries＇ physical space and users＇ space, such as study, research, culture and mind space.
