This article analyzes the present situation of HUST English teaching, and points out the necessity of teaching reform -- graded teaching. With reference to HUST College English graded teaching management regulations, this essay details the content of graded teaching in order to better adapt to college English teaching reform and then improve the level of science and technology English teaching.
