1例L4-L5-S1双间隙腰椎间盘突出症患者，L4-L5间盘接受了经皮旋切减压术，L5-S1间盘未做任何微创治疗，术后旋切的间盘发生脊柱间盘炎，3个月后未治疗的间盘突出自行消失。提示机体对外界刺激是有反应的，在制定腰椎间盘突出症的治疗方案时不应过于积极，能微创者不手术，能保守者不微创。
