院校研究中不同主体角色、价值的冲突与协调 被引量:4

The Conflicts of the Roles and Values of the Various Parties and Its Effective Mechanism in Institutional Research

摘要 院校研究从60年代在美国提出以来,被普遍认为是推动大学发展的重要手段,但现实中院校研究经常处于被抱怨中,研究成果难以发挥应有作用、不同参与者容易产生相互矛盾与冲突、院校研究组织实施困难。究其根源还是在于院校研究本身定位不够清晰,在院校研究中不同参与者的角色与价值存在冲突,研究范式与方法存在矛盾,大学自身运行机制没有留给院校研究应有的位置。提高院校研究的有效性,需要大学自身治理结构的调整,更需要对院校研究问题的分解与把握,需要充分发挥不同参与者的优势和特长,形成院校研究新的运行机制。 Institutional research originating from America in1960 s is widely considered as an important means of promoting university development.However,in reality,it is always the target of public complaint,and the research findings often fail to play their due role.Besides,different parties are usually inclined to get involved in conflicts and the organization and implementation of this type of research is difficult.All of these should be ascribed to the vagueness of the positioning of the research itself,the conflicts of the roles and values of the various parties,the contradiction between the research models and methods,as well as the lack of space in operating mechanism left for institutional research.To improve the effectiveness of institutional research,universities themselves should adjust the governance structure,deconstruct and grasp the research problems,bring various parties' superiorities into full play,and thus,to form a new operating mechanism for this kind of research.
