The paper illustrates the process of study on the device for automatic hanging of earthing wire for DC 1 500 V conductor rail, the defined functional requirements for the equipment that shall be met according to the design basis for device for automatic hanging of earthing device for conductor rail, and describes the researches and application of the device for automatic hanging of earthing wire at present and future development.
