Investigating the Experience of Professor Wang Wan-Lin in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Breast Hyperplasia

王万林教授从事中医外科50余载,临床经验丰富,擅长乳腺疾病的诊治。他治疗乳腺增生病以辨证论治为原则,强调标本兼顾;认为肝脾不和是乳腺增生发病的关键病机,疏肝健脾是治疗的核心,尤其重视健脾;主张肾虚冲任不调是发病的基础,补肾固本,调和冲任是治疗的根本;注重活血化瘀,化痰消结,内治外治相结合,有效改善症状;同时重视精神因素调节。

Professor Wang Wan-lin has profound clinical experiences in surgery of traditional Chinese medicine for over fifty years, espe-cially in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. His treatment for breast hyperplasia was on the principle of treatment based on syndrome differentiation, and he emphasized treating both manifestation and root cause of disease. Professor Wang Wan-lin considered that the main pathogenesis of breast hyperplasia was the incoordination between the liver and the spleen, and the core of the therapy of TCM was soothing the liver and invigorating the spleen. He paid more attention to invigorate the spleen. Professor Wang Wan-lin thought that the kidney deficiency and disharmony of thoroughfare and conception vessels were the basis of the desease.Tonifying the kidney, consoli-dating origin and harmonizing of thoroughfare and conception vessels are the fundamental treatment. He focused on activating blood and resolving stasis, eliminating phlegm and removing obstruction, within the rule of combining external treatment with endotherapy to improve symptoms, as well as regulating psychological factors.
