Reviews the revision background of the national standard. Summarizes the problem in compiling the standard of version 2005 and the issues in its application. On basis of investigating the method of standard revision abroad, determines the revision principle and the main contents to be revised. Presents emphatically the setting of the energy Saving goal for the standard in version 2015, the idea and the method for decomposing the goal. Discusses the future development direction of energy saving standards for buildings and the relevant issues.
