A Review of the Twelve Modern Military Choreographers

军旅舞蹈编导在新时期中国舞蹈编创中,是最具活力、也是最具水准的一个群体。本文通过对蒋华轩、苏时进、门文元、华超、房进激、赵明、陈惠芬、张继钢、杨威、应志琪、邢时苗、杨笑阳等"十二家"的述评,揭示出军旅舞蹈编导在新时期中国舞蹈创编中不断拓展的新域和不断建树的丰碑。

Military choreographers are the most dynamic and of the highest level in dance innovation in modem China. The paper provides a review of the ＂Twelve Master Choreographers＂, namely, Jiang Hua - xu- an, Su Shijin, Men Wenyuan, Hua Chao, Fang Jinji, Zhao Ming, Chen Huifen, Zhang Jigang, Yang Wei, Ying Zhiqi, Xing Shimiao, Yang Xiaoyang, demonstrating the new domains and milestones explored and established by military choreographers in modem China.
