Application of BIM with 3D Laser Scanning Technology in the Optimization of Shanghai Shimao Chasm Hotel

上海世茂深坑酒店作为世界唯一一座位于废弃矿坑中的五星级酒店,由于崖壁陡峭、断面不规则、深度较深,且设计独特,给施工带来了前所未有的挑战。本工程运用基于三维激光扫描的BIM技术对施工方案进行优化,起到了缩短工期、节约成本的作用。

Shanghai Shimao Chasm Hotel was the only five star hotel located in the abandoned mine pit.Because of steep cliffs, irregular cross sections, deep depth and unique design, it has brought unprecedented challenges to the construction. BIM technology based on three-dimensional laser scanning was adopted for the construction scheme optimization,which reduced the construction time and saved cost of the project.
