In this paper, the primary contents in the occupational health field was described. The occupational hazard factors were classified and the common factors were displayed. The occupational exposure limits for the chemical hazards, as the key point, were introduced, according to which the thirdparty detection institution can conduct daily works. And the relationship among these limits was analyzed in details. A field investigation for occupational hazards of the flat glass industry was conducted, and the feasible ideas for prevention and treatment of occupational hazards were suggested. The main occupational health services of the typical third-party detection institution were also supplied.
