Based on the analysis of two participatory image audio surveys, this paper discusses the perception and description of health risk among students in four schools for migrant workers' children from the perspective of subjectivity.Nearly 50 children present their perception of health risk by means of photo taking and group discussion in the survey. They take photos by themselves and write photo caption in their own words. These young individuals think deeply about their inner health habits and food preference, focusing on many external health risks such as the rubbish problem unsolved for along time, the extension of hidden dangers of traffic ancidents and the continuous risk concerning food safety. The photos and captions unveil problems hidden beneath the severe reality and reveal the appeal of subjectivity.Such an appeal from the bottom of society is full of anxiety, reflecting aspiration and expectation for a morality-favored culture and agoodness-preferred society.
