补习课程的国际经验及对我国高校学历继续教育的启示

摘要 补习课程是高等教育机构对于学习困难的学生所开设的"非大学水平课程"。高等教育从"精英"到"大众"乃至"普及"的阶段转变过程中,迎来了大量非精英、非传统学龄、拥有复杂经历的学生,补习课程应运而生。尽管有反对者认为高等教育机构不应当浪费资源提供高中水平的补习课程,然而实践证明,补习课程意义重大。借鉴国际经验,我国高校学历继续教育能够更为有效地开展补习课程的尝试和探索。 Remedy courses are non-tertiary courses offered by higher education institutions to help students adapt to college learning. As higher education has evolved from the elite stage to massification,and even universal access,an increasingly number of non-elite,non-traditional students with different backgrounds go to college,badly needing help from remedy courses. Though remedy courses are regarded as a waste of money by the opponents,factual evidence has proved that they are very helpful for students. Continuing education diploma programs at colleges and universities in China can draw a lesson from international experiences in remedy courses.
