From the concept of cross-cultural communication and pragmatic failure,this paper analyzes the current situation of cross-cultural communication and the significance of developing cross-cultural communication competence under globalization background,trying to find out the root causes of the pragmatic failure,thus putting forward to solve the problem of pragmatic failure in cross-culture communication.
