Objective To explore the short-term outcome oftransforaminal endoscopic spine system (TESSYS) approach for lumber disc herniation or lumber spinal stenosis. Methods Clinical data of 30 patients with low back and leg pain resulting from foramen intervertebrale stenosis were recruited into this study. These patients received TESSYS. L3-4 in 3 cases,L4-L5 in 17 cases,LS-S1 in 10 cases. The visual analogue score (VAS) and JOA was determined before the op- eration and 1, 3, 6 months after the operation. Results VAS score after surgery was decreased and the JOA score was increased compared to that before surgery. TPatients are satisfied with the results of surgery. Conclusion TESSYS approach is effective for low back and leg pain resulting from foramen intervertebrale stenosis.
