摘要
以Skype为交互工具,通过语料分析和对比从言语和非言语两个方面考察了计算机交互环境中开放外语学习者交际策略使用情况。结果表明,学习者会利用Skype提供的多种交际渠道进行多模态交际,实现交际目标,且言语策略的使用频率要高于非言语策略。同时任务类型会影响交际策略的使用,角色扮演比开放讨论使学习者产生了更多的交际策略。
Using Skype as communication tool, this paper examines communication strategies employed by open foreign lan- guage learners in computer-mediated communication(CMC) from verbal and nonverbal aspects through corpus analysis and com- parison.The findings show that the learners make use of multiple communication channels afforded by Skype for multimodal communication to achieve communication goals.Verbal strategies are used more frequently than nonverbal strategies.Tasks types affect communication strategy use with role playing eliciting more communication strategies from learners than open discussion.
