莫高窟、榆林窟明代游人题记研究

Research on the Notes Left by Travelers in the Ming Dynasty in Mogao Grottoes and Yulin Grottoes

《伯希和敦煌石窟笔记》与《敦煌莫高窟供养人题记》共收录莫高窟明代游人题记12条,《安西榆林窟》一书共收录榆林窟明代游人题记7条。这些保存下来的明代游人题记,不仅真实记录了信众和普通游客巡礼莫高窟、榆林窟的事迹,而且从侧面反映了明代敦煌历史之一斑,不少内容甚至为史书所阙载。在明代敦煌史料非常缺乏的情况下,莫高窟、榆林窟的明代游人题记对研究明代敦煌历史,无疑具有独特而珍贵的价值。

12 pieces of notes left by travelers in the Ming Dynasty are collected in Grottes De Touen-houang Carnet De Notes De Paul Pelliot and Notes by the Patrons of Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, while 7 are collected in Anxi Yulin Grottoes. These preserved notes not only truly recorded what the travelers or pilgrims had experienced and felt while paying visits to Mogao Grottoes and Yulin Grottoes but also insightfully reflected the history of Dunhuang in the Ming Dynasty, which is not so sufficiently written in official history books.Thus, notes left by travelers in the Ming Dynasty in Mogao Grottoes and Yulin Grottoes are extremely valuable for the study of Dunhuang history in the Ming Dynasty.
