According to the characteristics of geographic information system in colleges and universities, explored the teaching content system construction, teaching methods and assessment methods reform of map analysis and application. And then it discussed how to cultivate the students＇ independent learning ability and innovation ability through the reform of these links, which promoted the teaching reform and improved the overall teaching level of the course.
