论中美乒乓外交发生的历史逻辑及现实启示

Ping-pong Diplomacy between China and the USA:the Historical Logic and Realistic Inspirations

运用文献资料、历史分析等方法,在对乒乓外交的历史意义进行梳理的基础上,重点对乒乓外交发生的历史逻辑进行了研究。结果认为:国家利益需求是乒乓外交发生的根本性前提;富于政治头脑的庄则栋是乒乓外交发生的逻辑起点;国家领导人的英明决策是乒乓外交发生的关键;中国乒乓球队的辉煌成绩是乒乓外交发生的铺路石;体育竞赛的同质性构建了乒乓外交发生的公共交往平台。并提出了乒乓外交的现实启示,以期为继续保持中国竞技乒乓球的长盛不衰,更好地发挥体育的外交功能提供借鉴。

On the basis of the analysis of the historical significance of the Ping-pong diplomacy,this paper focus on the study of the historical logic of this incident. We have reached the conclusions that the need of national interests was the fundamental premise; that Zhuang Zedong＇s political consciousness was the logical starting point; that the wise decision of the country leaders was the key; that brilliant achievements of the Chinese table tennis team was the＂paving stone＂; that homogeneity of sports competitions constructed the public communication platform. Finally,the paper points out the realistic inspirations that the Ping-pong Diplomacy has to provide,which may contribute to enduring prosperity of table tennis in China and the fulfilling of the role that sports can play in diplomatic relations between nations.
