清代中琉关系中的闽安水师

Min-an Navy in China-Ryukyu Relationship in the Qing Dynasty

清代福州是琉球来华出入境的唯一口岸。闽安水师是闽江口的主要防护力量。在中琉长期往来的过程中,闽安水师在保护琉球来华的各类船只、救助琉球的海上遭风难民、护送琉球入京的贡使和前往琉球册封的中国官员等方面发挥了重要的作用。同时,闽安水师坚决贯彻执行清政府的政策,不允许除琉球之外的其他国家来福州贸易。

Fuzhou was the only entrance port available for foreigners from Ryukyu in the Qing Dynasty and the Min-an Navy was the major defense force for Minjiang River mouth. The Min-an Navy played a key role in protecting various ships from Ryukyu,salvaging stranded sailors from Ryukyu,escorting tribute envoy from Ryukyu as well as safeguarding Chinese officials to confer titles to Ryukyu.Meanwhile,the Min-an Navy dutifully carried out the Qing government policy of excluding other countries or areas from doing business in Fuzhou except the only one admitted-Ryukyu.
