One million Australian cattle worth up to USD one billion are set to be exported to China each year, under a new trade dealbeing finalised between the two countries, reported ABC Radio Australia. The size of the deal would amount to a doubling of Australia＇s existing live cattle exports. The Australian Government said the cattle deal was not linked to long-running Free Trade Agreement （FTA） talks between Australia and China. China took more than 78,000 head ofdail7 cattle and about 15,000 beef cattle in financial year of 2013.
