摘要 许美德教授运用比较教育之镜透视中国教育,分析中西教育文明的互学互鉴,探索从“文明对话”的视角建立全球教育关系新途径.从批判价值中立的研究,转向价值明确的比较教育研究法框架,探究深层次的文化价值因素,把中国传统文化和学术精神介绍给世界.追溯“师范”一词的含义,强调它是东方和西方的一个桥梁,中国的教师教育必须有效地结合其丰厚的文化底蕴和师范教育的传统,发展有中国特色的教师教育. Dr.Ruth Hayhoe comments on Chinese and Western education from a perspective of comparative education.She explores how Chinese and Western education learn reciprocally and the new way of establishing global relationship in education from the perspective of'civilization dialogue'.Dr.Ruth Hayhoe criticizes the value free researches and turns to the researches with explicit value in the frame work of comparative education.She explores the core value of culture and introduces Chinese tradition and academic spirit to the world.She traces the meaning of'normal education'and stresses that it is a bridge between the East and the West.She proposes that Chinese teacher education should effectively engage with its rich cultural heritage and traditions,as well as develop its own characteristics.
