An investigation on injuries to readers in the libraries of universities and colleges and the countermeasures against it is conducted. It appeals for realizing that the libraries of universities and colleges have inescapable legal and moral obligations on the issue,should establish and perfect relevant institutions on the prevention and management systems against injuries to readers,and form effective mechanism,as well as strengthen education on the general knowledge,skills training,and practice of it,thus,it will be manifesting the professional ethics,caring the readers and respecting the readers,so as to raise the image of libraries of universities and colleges in the hearts of readers.
