Distinguishing and Classifying Landslides in Southwest China

野外勘察过程中,地质人员要正确识别滑坡,可先根据地形地貌,找出滑坡的敏感因素:易滑地层、滑坡构造、产生滑坡的水文地质因素,再根据有关野外现象进行综合判定,并在此基础上对滑坡进行定性分类、评价。

During the process of field investigation, the geological engineer shall, based on topography and landform, distinguish landslides by observing their sensitive factors, including the sliding-prone strata, the geological structure of landslide, and the hydrogeological factors resulting in landslides, etc., and then classify and evaluate the observed landslides qualitatively.
