This essay is an interview with an independent film creator based on the reality the creator has experienced in producing three feature films to sketch his spiritual life clearly. Besides, this essay also highlights the recording function of narrative films by pointing out the absence of the relationship between man and God that is ubiquitous in Chinese films.
