This paper introduced the seven product classification and environmental influence of generic cabling system. The product development prospect of generic cabling system were analyzed in aspects of the front detachable general panel,jumping-line manager,highly-variable cabinet type optical fiber distribution frame. It is pointed out that only if the employee of generic cabling system would understand the seven product classification and all kinds of attributive meanings, then the understanding of all products become easier and easier.
