Exterior windows performance is directly related to energy efficiency and the quality of civil engineering, improving the energy performance of external window is one of the effective measures to reduce building energy consumption. Based on the energy-saving windows and doors attention to technology development and application of point presentation,elaborated on the various configuration conditions,technical characteristics and application of energy-saving measures to adapt to the low-energy building doors and windows,and put forward that achieving standardized,systematic doors and windows,promoting the use of high-performance exterior window is an important technology roadmap for energy-saving of low energy consumption building envelope in the near future.
