《西藏的社会现状——对新声社记者谈话》[1],谭云山[2]著。文章分别从政治、军事、交通、商业、风俗及其他近状等几个方面对民国时期的西藏地方进行了介绍。由于有受谢国渠之邀一同入藏宣慰的经历,且与十三世达赖、西藏地方的上层人士及在拉萨的汉人有过直接接触,故谭云山对西藏地方的情况有较为深入的了解,文章的内容也较能反映出其时西藏地方的真实情况。该文为研究民国时期西藏的地方政治、交通、商贸提供了史料,也反映出当时涉藏人员对于西藏地方的认知。然而由于入藏时间较短,无法对西藏进行全面的考察与研究,文中谭云山所做的一些判断较为主观,部分内容与史实存在一定的出入。

The Tibetan Social Conditions—A conversation to the journalist of the Xinsheng news agency,written by Tan Yunshan, introduces the social conditions of Tibet in 1930s`,such as the political institutions, themilitary establishment, the manners and customs, the transportation and business. Tan Yunshan was directly ac-quainted with the Tibetan social conditions after spending about 100 days in visiting the Tibetan local officials inLhasa, consequently, to some extent, his words are receivable. This article is significant to the research on thepolitics and the trade of Tibet during Republic of China, as well as to the study on the cognition of Tibet. Howev-er, Tan was not able to carry out a comprehensive survey of Tibet, so some of his words in this paper are not au-thentic.
