新中国成立以来,我国区域经济发展战略经历了四个阶段:均衡发展阶段、非均衡发展阶段、非均衡区域协调发展阶段、统筹区域协调发展阶段。"十二五"以来我国区域经济发展总体进入相对均衡时期,区域经济协调发展战略成效显著,各地区经济发展呈现出良好的态势,区域间的差距也正在逐渐减小。随着"四大板块、三大支撑带"的提出,我国的区域经济格局将要出现一种新的格局,三大支撑带把四大板块衔接起来,起到沟通东中西,平衡南北方的作用,通过这些支撑带的衔接,东部地区可以实现加速转型升级;中部形成综合的交通枢纽和制造业中心;西部基础设施更加完善、能源产业更加优化;东北实现老工业基地的振兴。

Since the founding of new China,regional economic development strategy in our country has experienced fourstages： balanced development stage,unbalanced development stage,unbalanced regional coordinated development stage,theoverall regional coordinated development stage.Since ＂ The twelfth five-year plan＂, the overall regional economicdevelopment of China have come into a period of relatively balanced,effective regional economic coordinated developmentstrategy; the regional economic development strategy has achieved a remarkable success and regional gap is graduallyreduced.As the＂big four plates,the three major support belt＂is put forward,the regional economy pattern of our countrywill present a new pattern： the three major support belts link up four plates and play the role of balancing the north andthe south.By the support of three major support belts,the eastern region can implement to accelerate transformation andupgrading; the middle integrated transport hub and manufacturing center; the western infrastructure will be improved,theenergy industry will be more optimization; the northeast will realize the revitalization.
