Measurement and Analysis on Innovation-driven Growth of Chinese Large and Medium-size Industrial Enterprises

摘要 基于内生增长理论和CDM模型,建立四方程递归模型。首次用近几年中国大中型工业企业数据测度和分析企业创新驱动过程中创新决策、创新投入、创新产出和最终产出之间的关系和影响因素。对企业创新行为的关键变量设定不同的衡量指标,既分析了企业规模、市场力量、技术机会等传统熊彼特因素的影响,又考虑了政府政策、不同控股类型企业、高新企业等符合中国国情因素的影响。模型估计考虑了选择性偏差对创新的影响,并对相关结果进行了比较分析。 Based on the endogenous growth theory and CDM model, we establish four-equation recursive models. The paper is designed to measure and annlyze the influencing fac- tors and interaction of innovation decision-making, innovation input intensity, innovation outputs and final outputs using recent year Chinese large and medium-size industrial enterprises data for the first time. We utilize different indexes to measure the innovation varia- bles. We not only consider enterprise size, market power, technological opportunities and other traditional Schumpeter's factors on enterprise innovation activities, but also take into account government policy, different holding type businesses and high-tech enterprises which are in keeping with China's national condition. We select appropriate estimation methods for the recursive models, consider the effect of selection bias on innovation and give a comparative analysis of results.
