Research on the History, Present and the Future of the Floating Population in Beijing

人口问题是北京市发展中面临的一个突出问题。区域协调发展是北京缓解人口压力、保持可持续发展的一项重要措施。本文对新中国成立以来北京市流动人口规模的变化和相关政策及影响进行回顾和审视,进而对北京市流动人口的基本现状和主要特点进行分析,在此基础上,探讨了京津冀协同发展对北京市流动人口规模可能产生的影响,期望对正确认识和解决北京市的流动人口问题有所裨益。

Regional coordinated development is an important measure to ease population pressure and maintain sustainable development in Beijing. This paper reviews the change on the number of floating population and relevant management policies in Beijing since 1949, and analyzes the current situation and characteristics of floating population in Beijing. Based on this, the paper discusses the influence of the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei on the number of floating population in Beijing, with expectations of correctly understanding and solving the problem of floating population in Beijing.
