University basketball teaching is the process for teachers and students to learn from each other. In university basketball teaching, not only the teaching of basketball theoretical knowledge should be emphasized, but also more attention should be paid to the application of explanation and demonstration. In view of characteristics and patterns of university basketball teaching, the paper mainly studies the application of explanation and demonstration in university basketball teaching.
